Who comes up with this shit?
So, I know everyone out there knows what American Idol is. If you don't, you should look into your local mental hospital. Anyway, that show sucks. BUT, if you happen to catch the show American Inventor on ABC, Wednesday nights, you will not be disappointed. Well, you probably will. To be honest, I haven't seen anything on there that I would actually buy, hell, I wouldn't even buy it for my kids, assuming I had any. But the thing that just perplexes the hell out of me is how much money people are pumping into their shitty inventions. The line was drawn for me tonight when I saw one dumbass' invention. I'm not gonna lie, it was kind of cool and i totally would've wanted one when I was a kid. And I would have been bored of it after an hour. So what was it you might ask? It was a little plastic ramp that you put your matchbox cars in and drag raced them. It had a pedal for each racer and lights to start at the same time and to catch foulers. Now this sounds all cool and stuff but the reason I refer to this guy as a dumbass is because he spent $300,000 on it. That's not a misread three hundred thousand mother fucking dollars. And this is money he doesn't have...hence the reason he's on this reality show. His brothers even took out second mortgages on their houses. Now, I'm at a loss, and I want to know if anyone can answer my questions. Why would someone go as far as spending this much money on something as ridiculous as this? And $300,000? I honestly could've come up with that for a third of the price...maybe even $50,000, and I'm semi-retarded!! Maybe I'm just venting, but you should check it out. I think you will see things from my viewpoint. peace.

I believe something similar to that has already been invented. I don't know about the whole petal apparatus, but I definitely remember seeing some kind of a drag racing strip for matchbox cars when I was a kid.
me too, that guy just went bankrupt for absolutely no reason
