After reading this article in the Grand Forks Herald, I think I realized how obtuse (i'm not sure if this is the word I'm looking for or not but it works) the US government is. I think that if the government, specifically the DEA, would allow this to be grown it would be amazing for the environment. There are so many uses for hemp that it is amazing. Hemp might just be the most important renewable resource that Earth has to offer, and we are being told to just let it slip away here in america. The ND farmers mentioned in the article will undoubtedly be able to grow hemp soon. So to all you haters of hemp out there, be prepared to see hemp have a significant impact on the world, and production. And while they're legalizing the growing of hemp, they might as well legalize the growing, distribution, and possession of marijuana. Just a thought. If you're interested more on hemp, check out wikipedia. Also, I'm going to buy this to read. peace.

Another book worth checking out is Reefer Madness by Eric Schlosser. It really makes the USA's war on drugs look misguided ... especially with the way our country punishes those who buy, smoke or grow pot.
I'll have to check that out too. I would also just like to clarify something that I forgot in th epost...pot's not a drug.
