So far the response to my ever-growing beard has been varied. This morning I heard the full spectrum from "Hey, are you growing a beard? Sweet!" all the way to "Cole you need to shave." Well boss, I will not shave. I'm going to carry this thing through to its sad, patchy end.
Also, there has been a strong indication that volume should be the judging criteria for the beard-off. I think this puts me at a serious disadvantage simply due to the overwhelming size of John's head. But from what I read in Charlie Jones' "What Makes Winners Win," I just need to concentrate on growing my own beard and doing my personal best let the chips fall where they may.
