World Series
I love the game of baseball and am currently watching game 3 of the world series. I'm rooting for the Rockies for obvious reasons. 1. I hate the red sox, and the yankees at that. 2. I grew up closer to denver than any other major city. And 3. The 1993 Rockies vs. Astros game at the old Mile High was the first proffesional sporting event I ever saw in person. Amazingly, I still remember parts of that game, I was 9ish. I am definately hoping the rocks can pull one out tonight and not go down 3-0. But in any case, I think the world series is the best professional championship sporting event in America. It actually showcases two great teams who are willing to put it all on the line without all the extra bullshit as seen during the Super Bowl, and without the lameness of the NBA. In any case, I will be rooting on my Rockies, while drinking Coors Light and know that next year, and in years to follow, I can always rely on the World Series, and Baseball in general to carry me through and keep me stress free. Be good to each other. Peace.

Too bad the Rockies lost last night. I didn't really care to see the Red Sox win. Maybe next year.
