Settling Inn

So, I think we're going to try and kick this thing off again. Now that everyone has kind of settled in we should be able to update it semi-regularly. After this week, I will do my part. So anyway, I recently began listening to Loveline pretty avidly again. Since it is now available as a podcast, it is very convenient. Last week, the guest host was Aisha Tyler. Aisha Tyler is a hottie that's been in a lot of stuff over the past years. Anyway, they got on the topic of britney spears and lindsey lohand and the stupid shit they did. She went on to say that Americans have started believing that they're lives and the things they do don't mean anything unless someone is watching. And reality tv has just added to that ideal. I must say that I completely agree with her. If you're a celebrity, everyone is always watching you and when you become famous at a young age, the whole world sees the stupid shit you do. Luckily for me, I was able to do all my stupid shit in High school and college, and I got it all out of my system before I became famous (ok, so i'm not famous, but someday I will). So like all those times I passed out in the front yard or wherever, no one really saw because they were all passed out with me.
So that's basically a rundown of what Aisha said, but I thought it was very interesting and compeltely true. She really had no point to her story, except to stay in school and don't do stupid shit when everyone can see you do it.

On another note, Football season is coming. Soooo, we need to start picking teams each week. I think we should pick games each week throughout the season. I will make sure to post the weekly games as well as the spreads and over/unders. If this sounds like something of interest, let me know. The more people we can get to participate, the more fun it will be. I will make a spread sheet and stuff as well to easily keep track of things. Any takers? Let me know. peace

Good call on the football stuff. I assume you're talking about the pros. I'm going to sit on my ass and watch college football all day on Saturday.
