Judge's Ruling

Beard trimming is only acceptable in terms of providing for full beard definition. All hair grown on the neck can be removed, but anything above the neckline is grounds for disqualification.

Sparsly populated cheek hair also can be groomed, but it is recommended that the opposing candidate or a valid, impartial observer be in attendance during such activity.

Both subsections are invalid should the contest be elevated to "friendly mutton chops."
