First and foremost, I recently completed reading the book Flight by Sherman Alexie. It was AWESOME. For those of you who don't know, Sherman Alexie is a well renowned American Indian author and is most famous for writing the screenplay for Smoke Signals (a great movie by the by). The book was really good, and like all of his stuff, was quite funny. I literally finished this gem in like 2 days, and couldn't wait for the ending. I highly recommend it. This book also fits in well with our independence since we did take our land from the Indians. Next, I'd like to delve into a little sioux hockey.
I've been reading the Schlossman hockey blog daily now, and I am really quite disappointed in the shit people were saying about Brian Lee and his days at ND. The fact that he signed a pro contract speaks well of his ability and the Sioux hockey program in general, so kudos to him. Secondly, overall I felt he was a very solid dman. But enough of that he's gone, we'll see who steps into his shoes. I know one thing, it won't be six feet and seven inches of piled shit commonly referred to as Joe Finley. I'm just going to come out and say it...he sucks. You know it, I know it, it's no big secret. But maybe he won't suck as bad this year. come to think of it, is he even going to be back next year? moving on
There was another good article in the GFHerald about former player Matt Greene. Sounds like things are going well for him up in Edmonton. I still think he will be a household name in 5 years. Quote me on that. Well, assuming the NHL is still around in 5 years.
So thats it folks, another great post. Also, just got our DVR hooked up and i've been watching more tv than i thought possible. I've already mentioned how bad-a rob and big is. and i think pirate master comes in a close 2nd. that show is AAArrrrrrrsome. that's all i got i'm too tired(lazy) to write anything else. peace.

Dude, you should start watching Ninja Warrior. That show is sweet. I can't remember what channel it's on though.
As for the Lee/Finley thing ... I am starting to come around on Joe Finley. He improved a lot toward the end of the year last year, and if he continues, he'll end up being pretty solid in last two seasons (if he sticks around for both, he's coming back next year).
Brian Lee, I think, is a victim of high expectations. He was a good player, but his high draft status was a huge cross for him to bear. I wish he would've stayed another year, but I also hope he does well at the next level.
