It's too early to ask for my vote.

So here we are in an off-year. Oh joy! No campaigns, no political hand grenades being tossed back and forth. Actual policy being implemented. Oh wait, as political guy pointed out in his last post, people are campaigning. Lame. Talk to me in about a year. I'll care then.

However, I am going to take a moment to point out the fact that Barak Obama was elected to Congress in 2004. This guy needs to prove himself through being a leader at a time when his country needs him the most, not running for office. We all know that campaigns are bullshit. So Barak, if you are reading, which you aren't ... I want leadership in my president. I don't care if you're good at politicking.

In the meantime ...

I've been listening to the Hold Steady a lot. Good band. Check them out. Now!

One other item: The University of North Dakota sent me a bill for $170 last week for bogus parking tickets. They'll probably put it toward this. Figures.
