Alright, so I started watching this documentary called Transgeneration. It is very interesting and if you are not open minded, you shouldn't even bother checking it out. Basically, it is about 4 students at 4 different universities who are trans-gender individuals. It is really interesting to watch, and even though I'm only through the first episode, it is really good. Now, I can't relate to or even understand what they're going through, but I can only imagine how difficult it must be. Anyway, there was something really interesting that one of the people said in the interview. It was a woman who is becoming a man (not sure how PC that is, don't really care) and he was talking about wanting to take hormones, mainly testosterone, to start his physical transition. He mentioned that testosterone leads to high blood pressure and other shit that will take years off of your life, and didn't know if it was worth it. Now, I don't understand where he's coming from at all because do you really want to live a longer life if you are going to be unhappy with yourself the whole time? I know I don't. Just something for y'all to ponder on.
On a totally unrelated note (well, maybe it's related somehow). I just saw the Body Worlds 3 exhibit at the Arizona Science Center this past weekend. And, aside from all of the stupid ass people that were there, it was totally sweet. I suggest if it is ever near you to go check it out. It's cool to see how the body's muscles look under the skin, especially in different situations. Well, that's all I got right now. I started a new novel...we'll see if it sucks. peace
